”掠猴 (lia̍h-kâu)”, ”catching monkey”, is a Taiwanese phrase for catching someone having an affair. In this game, Monkey-catching Game (掠猴之遊戲), you play as a private detective hired by your client Banana who wants you to investigate on their partner, Monkey’s infidelity. Your job is to follow Monkey and collect some powerful evidence of Monkey’s affair on the street in Taiwan.

Monkey-catching Game (掠猴之遊戲) was commissioned by Lilium (百合花), a Taiwanese Indie band, for their song Monkey-catching Song (掠猴之歌) from their album ‘Road to…’ (不是路). The game serves as a promotional mobile web-game. It showcases the story in the song and also portrays the challenges that pedestrians face when walking in Taiwan. The game is designed to be played on touch screen devices such as mobile phones but it can also be played with a keyboard and a mouse, and is made by Ferran Bertomeu Castells, Nomi & 羅妍婷 YenTing Lo with additional materials by Lilium.
