Player characters get used and abused to create chaos in their world. Once they’re not entertaining anymore, we leave them to deal with the consequences of our actions. This game explores agency of the player but also the game character. It let’s the player be the worst version of themselves. Just like other games it implicitly tells the player to use the world and it’s characters for their own entertainment without taking responsibility for the consequences. It’s an experience to invite people to think about the treatment of game characters. Is it okay to treat them badly because they’re not real? What does it say about us if we enjoy causing pain and chaos for them? An last but not least, why is it so much fun to be sadistic in games?
